Big Fresh Cafe in the Community
At Big Fresh Cafe we are committed to providing customers with the freshest and tastiest food around! During the New England growing season we partner with area farms to bring the local, organic harvest to your plate. Beginning in June and winding down by early November we offer a variety of produce from Lands Sake Farm in Weston and Heirloom Harvest in Westboro. If you’re in the restaurant for lunch on either a Tuesday or a Friday during this time you will often see one of our farm partners hauling in bags and boxes of fresh picked vegetables from farms that are just a few miles away.
Once you step inside the restaurant, you'll also be treated to beautiful stained-glass art created by Paula Kochanek of Five Crows Gallery in Natick. Paula's gallery offers hand-made crafts of all kinds created by local New England artists.
We also try to have a positive impact on the larger community of which we are a part by participating in various events throughout the year. Since our opening in the fall of 2003 we have supported the work of Voices against Violence, a MetroWest organization that works to break the silence to end sexual assault and domestic violence.
